Umber Sleeping was formed in 2002 as a two piece group when Peter Tietjen and Chris Jones discovered a mutual fondness for Jazz, progressive rock and other musics that sit slightly outside of the box. This group has been off and on over the years returning earlier this year with original line-up but adding local bass whiz Cameron Arneson on bass synth. They’ve been playing around Tacoma and Seattle recently and are just putting the finishing touches on a new album, the first since 2013.
