Breeze Art
By Breyahna Monet
Breyahna Monet Coston (Breeze) is a Seattle-born, Tacoma-based artist rooted in Black and Creek Nation heritage. Their work explores healing, mental health, and ancestral wisdom through the inner child, merging bold narratives with meticulous craft. A barber and Yale alum, Breeze creates murals, sculptures, and paintings honoring vanishing landscapes, community spaces, and Indigenous traditions—notably psilocybin as medicine. Inspired by Seattle’s Garfield High School and the Pacific Northwest’s ecology, their art reflects on collective memory, resilience, and the sacred.
